In the only building remained the same since the 1600s, located in via Margutta, the street of artists, we have created a magical experience about learning and sharing, for those who enjoy the two things that make our lives better: good food and good music.
After shopping with us for organic vegetables in the characteristic market of Via Bocca di Leone (near the Spanish Steps) you will find yourself in the highest floor of the building, with a terrace overlooking the "Fountain of the Arts", where you will learn the secrets of the delicious Roman cuisine with Ornella Serra, famous for her engaging parties full of artists, and Raffaella Baioni, chef and soprano, who will enchant you with her dishes, her charm and her wonderful voice!
The real stars of our kitchen are Alessandro Sala and Cristian Tulin, first chefs with great international and Italian experience built in various Michelin starred restaurants.
"The stomach is the music director who slows and spurs the great orchestra of passions; an empty stomach plays the bassoon of grief and the flute of envy; a full stomach beats the sistrum of pleasure and the drum of joy".
To bind in this successful metaphor music and food is Gioacchino Rossini, the composer who also became "the prince of gastronomes” creating dishes like the famous "Rossini maccaroni", which you could learn to cook!
Food is culture, as is music... and while the wonderful dishes, by you prepared, will be cooking, you will descend into the room below, where a pianist /singer will delight you by offering Italian and international music and by accompanying you, if you please, while you sing along on the microphone!
The seduction that will be exerted on you by this food and music experience, will make your "Roman holiday" truly unforgettable! (by the way: the famous movie "Roman Holiday" with Gregory Peck and Audrey Hepburn was shot right here, a few steps from the Serra palace!)
